Riverside Lodge Hotel

I booked an early valentines date with my hubby as working on 14th. So glad I did, the staff here are all welcoming and so friendly. The room was clean and bottle of wine was appreciated. The meal we both had was absolutely lovely. Such a good atmosphere throughout. Will definitely be returning. The lovely gentleman that checked us in and out was so nice

Visited today around 3pm for lunch with my colleague and had such a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the lady who served us (with long dark hair and a lovely accent) couldn’t have been warmer or more welcoming; it was some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. She was incredibly attentive throughout without ever being intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful with great music creating a relaxed vibe, and everything was very reasonably priced. An all-round fantastic visit — I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend!

Never stayed at the hotel but have been in for food a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their coffee and cake offer is good if you want a quick bite, afternoon tea was lovely and their main menu offers a fair bit of choice. Service has always been good, haven't waited too long for food. We do enjoy the craft fayres although would be good to see a bit more variety/more food stalls.

Was recommended this hotel by a close family friend so my sister booked an overnighter for myself and her and our partners. After checking in we went to our rooms and both rooms recieved a bottle of wine and two glasses, As we had booked evening meal and B&B as part of the deal we headed to the resturaunt at 1900.WOW the food was awesome and the portions were amazing! The hotel was spotless and staff were amazing who couldnt do enough for us.. We will 100% be back and will be recommending the place to our friends Ps the fish tank was amazing !!

Booked an overnight stay for my partners birthday which always gets lost in the midst of the festivities. The fantastic deal included dinner, bed & breakfast, we had guests join us for drinks and cake after dinner and we were allowed to decorate 2 booths in the bar. The ved was very comfortabke, the food was smashing, and the service was very good, relaxed and beautifully set out. The log fire built into an artifical wall was particularly inpressive. Would highly recommend.

Riverside Lodge Hotel, Irvine – 60th Birthday Stay We booked five rooms for my husband’s 60th birthday and kept it all a surprise — he had no idea the rest of the family were staying too, which made the whole weekend really special. The hotel gave us a lovely upgrade to the Arran Suite, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, beautifully presented, and the bed was so comfortable I genuinely didn’t want to get out of it! Even with the hotel being fully booked, we didn’t hear a sound during the night — so impressed with how peaceful it was. We stayed half board and enjoyed a two-course option, with the third course available if you wanted to add it on. If nothing on the set menu appealed, you could choose from the à la carte instead, which was great. Dinner was tasty and the girls who served us were absolutely spot on — really friendly and attentive. The only downside was the wait between courses, but given how busy it was, it’s understandable that things take a little longer. Breakfast, however, did feel a bit disorganised. Different items were in different places, and the hot food wasn’t replenished quickly enough. To be fair, we were down at peak time (around 9am), which probably didn’t help. Overall, we had a lovely stay and the upgrade, quiet rooms, and fantastic dinner service made it a memorable celebration. We’d happily return

Hotel was nice and clean dog friendly areas. Reception staff brilliant. And gave us doggy bag for the dog on arrival Service at restaurant bar area could be better booked a table for 630. No one came to take our order for food after we got a drink and waited 40/45 minutes we had to approach them to take our order had to approach them again for cutlery for starters and condiments. Chicken tempura was brick hard got refunded for that. Rest of food was good. Breakfast was good decent choice. The bar/waiter staff definitely need to get their act together or extra training. A lot of rooms are very far away from reception

We had a very pleasant stay. The double room was very comfortable, with three comfy chairs! (Oh, how annoying is itin many establishments when you book a double or twin room, and only have one chair!). All was clean and tidy.
